On November 11, 2008, my parents went back to the doctor and back to the ultrasound machine. They were super excited, as this was going to be the last ultrasound images that they would get of me. They quickly reminded the technician that they didn't want to find out if I was a boy or a girl; they were going for the BIG surprise! I was only 21 weeks old, but the technician told my parents that I was going to be a large baby when I was born. I only weighed just over 1 pound in these images. I was moving all over the place that day; I remember that Mommy ate lunch on the way to the doctor's office because she didn't have time to eat at work that day and boy, that got me moving! I was sucking my thumb, showing off my legs, and I finally decided to be still for a couple of good profile shots. Oh, how ecstatic my parents were! My parents were offered the 4-D ultrasound imaging, but they declined, as they wanted to be surprised on my features. Truth be known, I think Mommy was afraid that I would end up with her nose and feet! And for those of you who don't know, the Chinese Calendar, the needle on a string trick, pencil trick, and all the other ways to tell the sex of the baby without peaking at the parts on the ultrasound said I was a girl, so my parents were convinced early on that I was a little girl. Oh, what a shock they got when I finally arrived!
