Relay for Life means so much to my parents and I inherited the love for it! As you know Mommy works in the cancer field and Relay for Life touches our family dearly. Nana, Papa, Mommy, Daddy, and I attended the Relay for Life in Roanoke, VA. It was my first Relay and how special it was!! I met so many of my Mommy's colleagues and patients - I know how much they all mean to her. I can tell by the passion my parents have for Relay that this won't be the last one that I attend, that's for certain! Every single patient that battles cancer is such a courageous person...they are the strongest people that you'll ever meet! Promise.

Memorial Day Weekend

First and foremost, yes, Mommy has been slacking on the postings! That is because she is spending all of her free time with ME! She is very sorry for the lack of postings, but promises to do better....So on to Memorial Day....what a fun filled weekend! For the first part of the weekened, my Great Aunt & Uncle came in from Myrtle Beach to see me, as well as my Auntie B (a.k.a cousin Bianca) for a quick visit. We had a cookout, played Cornhole, and made lots of memories! I even broke my Auntie B in when I pooped all over her leg! I learned that my Uncle Rinaldo is the cornhole champion of all champions! He is awesome! Who knew they had cornhole growing up in Italy?!? It was great seeing them...I miss them and love them dearly.
On Memorial Day, it was my little cousin's birthday, Rowan. She turned the BIG 1. Mommy, Daddy, Nana, and Papa all drove up to Twin Falls State Park just outside of Beckley, WV for the birthday bash! It was so much fun. Rowan had a clown and a magician there! I can't wait until I get alittle older to be able to play with her. I was already checking out her toys that she got - I fell in love with her Sesame Street Airplane! It was the coolest toy ever, especially since my Daddy's a pilot!! And guess what?? My Great Aunt Tammy & Uncle Terry ended up sending me one just like it the next day!! I can't thank them enough!! We all had such a great time...it was great seeing everyone!
Enjoy all the pictures and again, I'll make sure that I give Mommy just a tad bit more time to catch up on her postings. We have lots of good things to share! Love you all, E

Week with Nana & Papa
The time came where both my Mommy and Daddy had to head back to work. I feel very fortunate that I will have family keeping me until August when I go into the dreaded daycare center! First up on the family list was my Nana and Papa Holt from Ohio. They came out to stay with me for about a week and a half. They did such a wonderful job during the day - they kept me on a great feeding schedule and I just loved their company. Nana always dressed me up, so my parents could see how cute I looked when they got home from work! Nana really did a great job of keeping me out of her arms, as I overheard my parents tell her specifically not to hold me all the time. I enjoyed all the chairs, swings, and toys that she kept me entertained with! Nana really taught me how to hold a rattle!! Both Nana and Papa really helped my parents tremendously while they were out! I know Papa helped my Daddy with the attic and yard work, while Nana helped them around the house! My parents couldn't have survived that week without them - many thanks to my Nana and Papa! I enjoyed every minute with them and will never forget my time with them while my parents were at work! I love them dearly and hope to see them soon...it has been too long...
